Celigo and Virology
The precise whole-well imaging of the Celigo makes the system particularly suitable for virology applications. Special software modules are available for counting plaques and foci, among other things. Cytopathic effects, assays for neutralizing antibodies and protein binding are part of the standard repertoire of the Celigo software suite anyway. Especially these days, many laboratories are discovering the enormous gain in efficiency and reproducibility in automating these assays.
